Study of measuring agreement is mainly aimed to answer one question, whether the readings from one instrument/method agree with the those from another instrument/method. In our study, we are going to present a general method to assess agreement for continuous and categorical data with repeated measurements using linear and generalized linear mixed models. Likelihood-based approaches are developed to estimate all the within- and between-instrument agreement statistics, and asymptotic properties of these agreement estimates are discussed for different data structures. Furthermore, our method has the merit of handling missing values and covariates naturally. And a new set of restricted agreement statistics is proposed in order to capture the true random variations and between-instrument effects rather than the covariate effects. Simulations and several case studies, involving method comparison and bioequivalence, are used to show the accuracy and effectiveness of our method.

Two papers based on the concept of SIR and its generalization have been submitted, for forecasting macroeconomic series and statistical process monitoring.

- Cluster-Based Regularized Sliced Inverse Regression for Forecasting Macroeconomic Variables

- Abstract: This article concerns the dimension reduction in regression for large dataset. We introduce a new method based on the sliced inverse regression approach, called cluster-based regularized sliced inverse regression. Our method not only keeps the merit of considering both response and predictors information, but also enhances the capability of handling highly correlated variables. It is justified under certain linearity conditions. An empirical application on macroeconomic dataset shows that our method outperformed the dynamic factor model and other shrinkage methods.

- Partial Sliced Inverse Regression for Quality-Relevant Multivariate Statistical Process Monitoring

- Abstract: The concept of the quality-relevant multivariate statistical process monitoring is to monitor the abnormal observations in the measurements. This paper introduces a popular dimension reduction method, sliced inverse regression (SIR), into this area. Provides an extension of SIR for the single-index model by adopting the idea from partial least squares (PLS). Our partial sliced inverse regression (PSIR) method has the merit of incorporating information from both predictors (X) and responses (Y), and it has capability of handling large, nonlinear, or “n<p” dataset. Two statistics with their corresponding distributions and control limits are given based on the X-space decomposition of PSIR for the purpose of fault detection in process monitoring. Simulations showed PSIR outperformed over PLS and SIR for both linear and nonlinear model.

I. Root

首先下载 gingerbreak
http://bit.ly/fnf6EN
然后放到sd卡中，在astro中找到后运行安装

启动 gingerbreak，选 Root device，记得启动 USB Debugging，在settings >
applications > development下，一分钟内搞定，机器会自动重启，然后就能在程序里
看到superuser了。

II. Flash Nandroid Recovery

这一步也就是安装一个简易的小系统工具，可以帮助我们备份，刷机，我用的是这个

下载 custom recovery 和 flash_image 两个文件，都解压到sd卡的根目录。

然后打开 Terminal Emulator，键入下面命令：

su
 mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system
 cat /sdcard/flash_image > /system/bin/flash_image
 chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image
 mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system
 flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-thunderc-v-1.2.0-GNM.img
 reboot recovery

你可以把recovery-thunderc-v-1.2.0-GNM.img 重命名来节约输入时间
输入最后一条后机器就会自动重启，进入flash recovery界面，这里音量键可以用来上
下移动，菜单键用来确定，返回键用来返回，建议先备份一下系统（Nandroid backup
）。

III. Flash Roms

这里有很多定制的Roms可以供大家选择，我用的是这个：

需要下载两个东西：
Picasticks’ Kernel（http://bit.ly/n0176O）
以及 Harmonia 1.5E Edify installer

不需要解压，直接把下下来的两个zip文件放到sd卡里，随便放哪，确保你能找到就行。

在 Terminal Emulator 中打入

su
 reboot recovery

重启进入刷机界面，或者按住Home，音量下，开机按钮开机也行。

刷机前建议wipe all data，除了sd卡，可以先取出sd卡，wipe后再放进去。

进去flash zip menu，选第一个

先flash picasticks-07a.zip，再flash Harmonia，正常情况下五分钟内就能搞定，之
后退出flash zip menu，重启手机即可，第一次启动时可能时间稍长，不过超过10分钟
还停留在Harmonia的logo的话就有问题（我从没遇到过），你可以重新再刷一次或者恢
复备份均可。

3. Run this command:

Then, you can restart Firefox and go to Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions -> FlashGot Preferences to add flashget.
